This yellow and red handcrafted kente cloth is authentically handwoven by weavers in Ghana, West Africa. It’s woven strip by strip with mostly cotton, rayon  and/or silk thread embellished with metallic thread. It is known by the Akan tribe as Kente and the Ewes, Kete. It's worn historically by royalty of the Ewes and the Ashanti tribes. Prices depend on the weave. Some sophisticated weaves take more than a month to finish a set for female alone.
