This brown, blue and pink handcrafted kente cloth is authentically handwoven by weavers in Ghana, West Africa. It’s woven strip by strip with mostly cotton and/or silk thread. It is known by the Akan tribe as Kente and the Ewe tribe, Kete. It's worn historically by royalty of the Ewes and the Ashanti tribes. Price depend on the weave. Some sophisticated weaves take more than a month to finish a set for female alone. The sentiment behind the image of a hand is hard work.
